The legalisation process takes 48 hours.
Days and hours for drop off and pick up are as follow:
Documents dropped off on Monday between 7-10am are picked up on Wednesday between 1-3pm.
Documents dropped off on Wednesday between 7-10am are picked up on Friday between 1-3pm.
For power of Attorney, the Ministry will contact you by text message or call once the document is ready for pick up.

For national documents such as certificates of birth, death, marriage, divorce; academic certificates and school’ transcripts; medical records; criminal records or company registration and board resolutions, you should submit the following documents:

Kindly contact the nearest Rwandan embassy/high commission to get assistance. They can facilitate with administrative papers requirements needed to come back home. However, they will not provide financial assistance.
