Kigali, 18 March 2024 - Minister Vincent Biruta attended the opening session of the 3rd Rwanda – Zimbabwe Business Forum under the theme "Shared Prosperity: Harnessing the Potential of Zimbabwean and Rwandan Economies".

In his keynote speech, Minister recognized the progress made in improving trade flows between the two countries since the 1st edition of this business forum, signaling that more opportunities lie ahead:

"Rwanda and Zimbabwe share a common will for inclusive growth, sustainable development, and entrepreneurship. By working together we can unlock new opportunities, accelerate investment flows, and create an environment for businesses to thrive."

Over 90 business leaders from Zimbabwe engaged with the Rwandan private sector to delve into trade and investment opportunities during the forum. This follows the two previous editions held in 2021 and 2022 in Kigali and Harare.
