On 15 November 2021, Minister Biruta co-chaired the first Rwanda-India Joint Commission with Minister Muraleedharan, MInister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs. The two sides committed to take their relations to new heights both at bilateral and multilateral levels.
