On 28 June 2021, in the margins of the G20 Foreign Affairs Ministers' meeting in Matera, Italy, Minister Vincent Biruta met with Dato Erywan Yusof, Minister of Foreign Affairs II of Brunei Darussalam. They discussed CHOGM and the recently established diplomatic relations between the two countries.
